The Brief

Creating a Modern, Lead-Driven Website for a Multi-Broker Financial Network

KAT Marketing was appointed by the Finance Planning Group (FPG) to design and build a completely new website that would strengthen usability, streamline broker management and modernise the company’s overall digital experience. The brief called for a refreshed design, a fully bespoke CMS and the integration of live mortgage information to support improved customer journeys and higher-quality lead generation. A major requirement involved consolidating numerous broker subdomains into individual broker profile pages while protecting their historic search rankings and retaining visibility in SERPs – an essential component of the new site’s structure and SEO strategy.

Our Approach

Building a Bespoke Digital Framework with Intelligent Integration and SEO at Its Core

KAT Marketing’s approach prioritised technical precision, user-centric design and SEO continuity. Work began with full access to the existing domain, followed by the setup of backups, a development environment and a detailed mapping process for the website’s required API functionality and custom integrations.

Our team created an entirely new sitemap and wireframe aligned with FPG’s strategic goals before producing design mock-ups for homepage and subpages via Figma. These designs were crafted to ensure the site was modern, mobile-first, WC3-compliant, accessible and built around lead conversion. Crucially, the architecture allowed individual brokers limited ability to personalise their profiles, while maintaining FPG’s administrative oversight to preserve accuracy and brand consistency.

SEO specialists within KAT Marketing developed a redirection strategy that preserved historic authority across all broker subdomains. Title tags, H1s, metadata and copy were retained or refreshed with researched keywords to ensure strong continuing performance in search engines.
