The Brief

What was the project?

PiPA (Parents and carers In Performing Arts) was created by actor Cassie Raine and director Anna Ehnold-Danailov in 2015, to address a lack of provision for parents and carers in the performing arts. As a registered charity, PiPA is always looking to find the best value for its resources. When a short gap appeared in the charity’s ability to cover its full range of marketing responsibilities, they went in search of some extra support and chose KAT Marketing to bridge the gap.

What was involved?

Working collaboratively with PiPA’s internal team, KAT Marketing established a defined scope of work to provide the best level of support and clear 360 reporting process to efficiently operate alongside PiPA’s staff. Delivering a full programme of social media activity, including strategy, content planning, content creation, posting and engagement, the KAT team was able to work seamlessly to add specific expertise exactly where it was required.

The Results

Collaboratively working alongside the PiPA team, KAT Marketing provided a comprehensive programme of engaging content to run across PiPA’s social media channels. This included creating and editing graphics, captions and video content generated to work within PiPAs agreed messaging and established brand guidelines. This content improved engagement with the PiPA charity through social media and followed a strategic plan to maximise the impact of PiPA’s presence at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. At the end of the interim contract, KAT Marketing was able to provide a full handover back to the PiPA team, giving them full access to all material created as well as a plan of future content already in place.

KAT have been great for our small but mighty charity. They came on board at a time when we needed to backfill social media support and they understood what we needed in a timely and clear way. It's been incredibly useful having them work so quickly for us ‘in the background' as we prioritised other areas of our strategy.
