The Boxted 10k run is one of the most popular events in the local calendar of this beautiful village, which is also home to the KAT Marketing office.
An essential fundraiser for Boxted St Peters Primary School, the Boxted 10k has been a successful family day of fun and fitness for several years now, with 2k, 5k and 10k routes giving everyone the chance to take part.
As well as handing out bottles of water, the KAT team were also armed with branded super soaker water pistols to shower runners with a cooling spray of water.
Hundreds of runners took part across the three distances, with many families running together. The start and finish of each race was in the grounds of Boxted St Peters Primary School, which also hosted a fun fair atmosphere of market stalls and refreshments.
From the school, the route of each of the races took participants out into the beautiful countryside of Boxted, taking in stunning rural views within the Dedham Vale, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
