We talk a lot about Investing in Essex but what does that actually look like in practice?

For us, it’s about creating the kind of moments that put Essex in front of the right people and making sure the story lands.

That’s exactly what Beyond London was all about.

A collaborative effort with a global focus

The event, led by our client ETK Group, brought together businesses from across Essex and Nigeria for a day focused on international trade, collaboration and growth.

Working alongside key partners including the Greater Essex Business Board, Essex County Council, Freeport East and Essex Chambers of Commerce, it was a real team effort all centred around one shared goal: positioning Essex as a place worth investing in.

And not just locally globally.

Not your typical business event

Let’s be honest business events can sometimes feel a bit predictable.

But this one had purpose.

Hosted at London Stansted Airport, it created space for real conversations the kind that go beyond introductions and start opening doors to new markets and partnerships.

Where we came in

Our role was to support ETK and partners in making sure the event didn’t just happen it had impact.

That meant:

  • Building momentum with pre-event PR and content

  • Managing media liaison and engagement

  • Supporting communications on the day

  • Capturing everything through photography and videography

  • Keeping the story going with post-event PR

In short, we helped shape how the event was seen - before, during and after.

Making Essex the headline

Everything we did came back to one thing: telling the Essex story properly.

From highlighting key sectors like advanced manufacturing, green energy and digital tech, to showcasing the region’s connectivity and ambition, the focus was always on making Essex feel like a serious investment opportunity.
